The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Billy Sends A Chilling Message & Diane Is Targeted

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) didn’t want to ever see Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) again. But he and various other people in Genoa City, Wisconsin, are running into her.

Patty did pass the threshold needed to earn her freedom. So, she was apparently lawfully released from the criminal institution for the unbalanced where she resided these past years.

Viewers last saw this great character actor when Haiduk was sharing scenes with the equally incomparable Ray Wise (Ian Ward). She was dressed like a nun at that time. Her recent return as a yacht host led to the unwanted GC reappearance.

Jack Abbott Wants To Alter Momentum

Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) fell victim to Victor’s second abduction scenario. Using Patty this time around was intended to inflict marital discord, and that happened.

But Jack is focused on rebounding. While Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has paid Patty handsomely, her mind can be swayed by the man she still loves.

It’s smart, though risky, for Jack to play into Patty’s obsession. He probably can convince her to work with him or at least shift her focus to getting Victor. That will need to happen to create a dynamic where Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) alters her outlook.

Billy Abbott Makes A Veiled Threat

Billy told Patty in no uncertain terms to leave town. She replied by threatening Diane implicitly.

Thompson’s character tried to impress on Diane that it’s a good time for her to get past the feelings of betrayal she holds against Jack. While understandable, she needs to be supporting Jack and defending him because Patty is a threat to both of them and others.

Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) was present when Billy was talking with Diane. Here’s hoping that Sally and the baby aren’t negatively impacted by Patty’s penchant for reckless behavior.

Diane Jenkins Abbott Is In The Way

Jack and Diane aren’t divorced yet. If Patty has her way, that will happen, but if it doesn’t, there are alternative options for removing her from the soapy equation.

Patty believed that it would be easy to convince Jack that she, not his wife, was the woman he needed. She’s gotten into his head because of the drugs she used on the yacht, which likely suspended his restraint.

However, Jack has been questioning himself and could still be open to Patty throwing herself at him if Diane doesn’t come around. While Jack is convinced he can manage Haiduk’s frenetic character, she’s elusive and therefore totally unpredictable.

Using Patty to get Victor is something she would agree to in exchange for Jack himself. So, he might lead her to believe that it is possible. But Patty would lash back when he inevitably reneges, and Diane would be her first target, and she’s also just aligned herself with Matt Clark (Roger Howarth), which makes her infinitely more dangerous or even deadly.
