Brooke Logan Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) reaction shot will be worth the watch if Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) opts not to take his wife’s recommendation and elevate her to co-Chief Executive Officer status.
Telling Ridge that they could become what Eric Forrester (John McCook) and the late Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) were to each other was a targeted, emotional play.
Credit to Brooke for playing that angle after Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) put the soapy bug in her ear about making a power grab.
Hope’s intentions weren’t entirely self-centered, as she doesn’t want to wait to unveil Hope for the Future’s latest collection.
Steffy naturally disagrees, but as Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) said, Forrester Creations isn’t valuing her worth as it should.
Hope has been patient for a year while her line has been delayed. So, claiming that she’s impatient is disingenuous, and Steffy definitely knows it but doesn’t care.
Like Ridge and Brooke, Steffy believes Hope has no alternative. That arrogance cost FC Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) and could easily result in Hope soon offering her resignation and joining the new enemy, Logan.
The idea that Liam thought of and presented to Hope, Katie, and his dad, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), at a recent family dinner has strong merit. Hope’s acquisition would create another needed jolt in the fashion world and that’s what Logan is looking for.
Katie was speaking with her non-competitive sister, Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis). She’s arguably the sweetest of the Logan trio and often seeks to soothe tensions.
Donna was absolutely against Katie’s idea to add Hope to Logan’s roster. She said that would set Brooke ablaze, which is the major sticking point for Katie as she contemplates what to do.
Bill and Liam want Hope to join the team. Of course, they wouldn’t face the brunt of Brooke’s wrath if that happened. However, current developments could cause Brooke to leave as well.
Ridge will be darned if he does and darned if he doesn’t use mild language.
He’ll face his wife’s disappointment if he rejects Brooke’s plea. That probably won’t be an easy reaction to handle or one that is accepted.
Kaye’s character will have an angry daughter to deal with if he tells Steffy that Brooke is, in effect, taking her spot atop the family business. It’s hard to imagine Steffy leaving FC and going to Logan, but one never knows in daytime.
A third option would be a power share between Ridge, Steffy, and Brooke. But would that business triangle work?

If Ridge replaces his own daughter Steffy with disgusting Brooke he will just show once more he’s a horrible father. Brooke and Hope are just trying to take over a company that’s no theirs. Just like before. Brooke, Hope and R J are so entitled, they need to be took down a few pegs. I hate the way Ridge is so weak and disloyal, it makes this show hard to watch anymore. For once, stop being the Logan show.
