. Previously, Brooke was content with her role as a member of the executive team but Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) has persuaded her that this is insufficient.
Now Brooke has suddenly decided to push Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) out of the co-CEO position and take it for herself. Fans of B&B are aware that Brooke relishes the thought of sitting on the Forrester throne.
That way she’ll run the company alongside Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye)-and when Eric discovers what Brooke is advocating for, he might just find the idea appealing as well.
It’s easy to picture Brooke enthusiastically sharing with Eric all that he achieved with Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) and encouraging him to recognize that she aspires to the same legacy.
Since Brooke aims to essentially step into the roles of Eric and Stephanie, Eric might choose to endorse Brooke and Ridge as a powerful leadership pair.
Eric has always had a fondness for Brooke, which means he could very well sacrifice his own granddaughter for the sake of Ridge’s wife! Will Eric support Steffy’s demotion and align himself with Brooke in this new chapter of Forrester leadership? If that’s the case, Steffy is bound to be furious and feel utterly betrayed by her grandfather.
Naturally, Steffy will reserve some of her anger for Ridge, possibly arguing that he should have firmly rejected Brooke’s ambitions from the start.
Steffy might believe that Ridge indulges Brooke and allows her to get away with far too much.
Hope might encounter some backlash, especially since Steffy is bound to realize that she is the one who has gotten Brooke so obsessed with this co-CEO initiative.
Steffy has already been feeling quite exasperated with Hope recently, but this situation could truly be the tipping point for her.
Steffy is determined to do everything in her power to maintain her position of authority alongside Ridge.
Yet there are certain employees who might start to believe that perhaps a change could actually be beneficial! Steffy is set to face even more workplace drama in the near future, so we will keep you updated on any significant developments related to the Forrester family.

If Ridge and Eric back Brooke the witch over Steffy then I may have to stop watching this show forever. I keep hoping Brooke and Hope get their comeuppance finally. It’s sickening how this show is always about them. Ridge had better stand up like a man and father for his daughter or he will forever be as unredeemable as the Logan’s.
