But no, it has nothing to do with her character or her personality for that matter.
Instead, it’s all about how she’s been dressing lately. Many eagle-eyed fans of the hit CBS soap noticed that while Chelsea has definitely been in “mom mode” lately, the moment that she started packing for Las Vegas, she pulled out her best pair of leather pants and immediately put it in her suitcase. Talk about making a statement, right?
For a lot of fans, they just don’t get why she would decide to wear her leather pants in Vegas when she’s been dressing so conservatively for years. Could it be because she’s been anticipating her meeting with Riza and wants to make the best first impression? Maybe.
Either way, this is a side of Chelsea that The Young and the Restless fans haven’t seen in a very long time and quite frankly, it’s not like anyone is complaining, right? In other words, bring on the leather!
Of course, many Y&R fans certainly did have a lot to say about the matter on social media.
Some have even commented with, “On this show, when someone breaks out the leather you know it’s all about to come down. Lol. The writers watched too much of the Fonz on Happy Days.”
Another critic wrote, “Chelsea is gorgeous. Her skin is flawless. Her clothes are usually fine and not distracting.
But yeah, the leather pants I was like, is she hitting a club later like what she is up to? I don’t think she’s left that room.”
And then there was this comment as well: “Don’t they have a casual pair of jeans and a tee shirt like the rest of us? I personally like the leather pants, but they don’t suit Chelsea’s character, IMO.”
