The Young and the Restless Spoilers Friday, May 8: Lauren Warns Phyllis, Nick Confesses & Chelsea Confronts Adam

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, May 8 indicate that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) has a confession while Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) grills Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) about sultry Riza Thomson (Tina Casciani).

In Vegas, Riza rubbed Chelsea’s face in the fact that she and “Spider” were close and Chelsea now wants details. In Friday’s episode fans will see the brunette interrogate her arachnid.

Adam’s Grilling

Adam is asked how far he came on to Riza while trying to gain her confidence. Will he admit that they kissed? For her part Riza hinted that they may or may not have gone to the boudoir but no lines were crossed.
Will Adam tell the same tale? We shall see!

What could worry Chelsea more is Riza hinting that the man formerly known as “Spider” is a restless cad who will never settle down.

Who is Adam Today?

If confronted about that, Adam may explain that he is no longer “Spider” and is content with Chelsea and their son Connor Newman (Judah Mackey).

Meanwhile, Nick is at the GCAC bar watching Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) talk to someone–Matt Clark (Roger Howarth).

Does Nick see Matt clearly and if so, what will he do next? Nick may confront the madman but will Matt claim he has amnesia?

Then again, Nick could leave with no idea his ex is cavorting with his foe. Be sure to tune in and find out how this charged situation turns out!

Later, Nick meets with his sister Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and makes a confession. How will Victoria react to learning that Nick is an addict and nearly died in Vegas?

Elsewhere Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) continues to warn Phyllis about the consequences of her shady behavior. Is she talking about her game of chicken with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) or her possible shenanigans with Matt Clark?
