The Young And The Restless Spoilers Tuesday, May 5: Nikki Shocked, Christine Arrests Phyllis, Sienna’s Murky Past

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, May 5 hint that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) finds out about her son Nick

Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) drug addiction, new DA Christine Blair Romalotti (Lauralee Bell) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) get into it and Sienna Bacall’s (Tamara Braun) history is checked.

Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) talks to Sienna after she questioned her version of events about Matt Clark’s (Roger Howarth). Sienna claims she killed him, but he’s alive and unwell.

Matt is Alive

Sharon tries again to quiz Sienna, this time about her past, including the monster known as “Mitch” aka Matt. Will she succeed?

Meanwhile, Phyllis is facing formal charges. Her foe and the new DA, Christine, is moving forward with the charges based on fake evidence

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) gave her.

Shouldn’t she be more sus based on her sudden ascendence to DA, thanks to Victor? Plus the fact that he produced a convenient dossier of criminal charges

Will Phyllis be Arrested?

Full of bravado, Christine and a few of GCPD’s finest corner Phyllis and take to the pokey.

But Red is out of custody before long and you can bet she’s mad as a hornet. As soon as Phyllis is out on bail she doubles down on fighting the Newmans even as she has a worried look on her face.

Tuesday’s Y&R Episode is Fire

Elsewhere, Nikki learns about Nick’s addiction. He’s chosen outpatient treatment to get the help he needs. Nikki’s alcohol battles make her understand that his road will not be easy.

As a mom she is hurting for Nick and his battle reminds her of her own substance use wars.

This would be the perfect opportunity for Nikki and Victor to make up but the couple remain at odds.
