The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Sally Deserves Good News – Billy Has Another Daughter Or Son?

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is pregnant.

Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) has had three children, but like the current woman he loves, he’s suffered infinite loss.

Sally lost what was to be her first child, Ava Newman (no actor ever cast to play this role). That miscarriage was part of the reason she and the father, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), of that unborn girl split.

Billy’s loss came during one of Y&R’s all-time tragic storylines. The child he and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) had was believed to have been accidentally hit by a sport utility vehicle that Adam Newman (then played by Michael Muhney) was driving.

Michael Muhney And Billy Miller Were Outstanding

The late great Billy Miller (a past version of Billy Abbott) was part of the cast when one of the darker storylines was presented. In it, Adam was driving on a dark night when he hit an unknown object.

Adam stopped, got out of his vehicle, looked around it, saw nothing, and proceeded. Viewers recall that another vehicle was on the same road.

Other than its headlights, that driver and that person’s actions have never been expanded upon, but it remains an open-ended mystery as to whether Adam did hit Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono) and kill her.

The work that Muhney and Miller delivered easily ranks, individually and paired, as the best of that era. Their efforts also arguably rank among the top performances of all time at Y&R.

As an aside, Hendrickson’s acting efforts were also stellar. Fans know that last year, after training for a period, she began directing episodes of Y&R, which is impressive.

Billy Abbott Is Persisting This Time Around

Billy later had a son, Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind), with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), though she conned him into that birth. He also had a daughter, Katie Abbott (Sienna Mercuri), with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).

The trials and daytime tribulations with Victoria were legendary. They’re not getting back together anytime soon, as long as all goes well with Sally.

On that plot point, Billy has gone very far to prove and reprove himself to Sally. The media company she heads was a gift from him and a show of faith in her ability.

Newman Media and Abbott Communications were merged to become Spectra-Charles, which says a lot about Billy’s personal growth.

Sally Spectra Has A Family To Plan For

Sally didn’t plan on focusing on much outside of her new media company. She loves Billy and also believes their relationship has been developing, with some hiccups.

However, he’s proven himself to her in recent months, and she’s certainly still in love with him. So, the unexpected addition of a baby in their lives will naturally propel their connection in ways that can’t be projected.

Here’s hoping that this couple realizes the delivery of a healthy baby at the end of this year and that Sally and Billy also tie the knot along the way. They’re ready for both commitments.
