It has just been reported that the actress is now an official cast member of the Peacock soap Days of Our Lives. She will be taking on a mystery role.

But for a lot of General Hospital fans who were used to seeing Sofia play Sasha in Port Charles, they can’t help but feel devastated over the switch.

Of course, many GH fans certainly did have a lot to say about the matter online.

Some even commented with, “Happy for the actress. I look forward to seeing her on DOOL. But like many have said I hope they eventually recast Sasha and Daisy. I want her to come wreck Willow’s house of cards.”

Another critic wrote, “I know this stuff happens in soaps all the time but, when I first read it I felt like it was a little bit of a betrayal. However, I also wish her well in that role!”

And then there was this comment as well: “Unpopular opinion but the character ran its course and needed a break. They threw everything but the kitchen sink at her (drug use, miscarriage, fraud, retcon kid, etc..)in such a short amount of time.”

“I feel like people only want her back for Michael but what about who she is as a character? I knew it was time for her to go when they made her the Q’s cook.”

With that said, many fans can’t help but wonder what this means for her character, Sasha. This has a lot of fans upset and for more reasons than one. That’s because they wanted to see Sasha engage with either Jason Morgan or Michael Cortinhos, seeing how they still share a baby together.
