Will sensed that RJ wasn’t his type of guy. They were never going to be friends, and he knew that Electra would be someone Nicoletti’s character would like, but never assumed that he could replace him.
Electra was onto the young woman who called herself Dylan until recently. The correct first name for Bullock’s character is Melissa, who came on too hard in professing her friendship for Electra. Well, they are friends no more.
In all likelihood, this foursome was going to experience turmoil. Even if Will never allowed both of his eyes to be caught by Melissa’s charm and she first became RJ’s girlfriend, it’s reasonable to believe that both guys would have found a way to butt heads.
Electra and Melissa could have continued their friendship if only the receptionist job had been open sooner. Assuming that happened, Melissa wouldn’t have been living in her car, Will wouldn’t have discovered that sad fact, and taken pity on her.
But the storyline played out as it did, and Melissa saw Will as her savior and protector, intentionally overlooking that Electra was equally helpful. But it must be added that Grace’s character did issue a few warnings that seemed partially based on post-traumatic stress effects resulting from last year’s Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) attacks.
Ivy Forrester (Ashleigh Brewer) has been behaving like a high-schooler for many weeks. Her so-called protection of Electra was plausible until it veered into outright manipulation, as Daphne Carter (Murielle Hilaire) witnessed and has directly confronted her about.
Wanting the best for a family member is natural. Sensing that Will wasn’t quite right for Electra was fine, as was Ivy telling her to consider the emotional swirl that surrounded him during the Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) build-up and eventual disaster.
However, Dylan liking Will and him initially, modestly responding to her was hardly a crisis. Instead, it mostly reflected Ivy only having work to focus on after Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) rejected her. Her manipulation of various scenarios created the intensity of the recent break between Will and Electra.
Will sees Electra as someone he wants to reunite with as soon as possible. RJ believes she needs to leave Will behind and be with him instead.
So, the teaser confrontations fans were shown in the Forrester Creations’ showroom could quickly lead to physical battles. But fans can wonder if Electra and Dylan will beat those guys to the punch by going at it themselves.

I find this new RJ to be very odd looking... I don't want to see him with anyone. Including thos two silly girls that giggle and fawn constantly.
