The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Will Summer’s Dark Past With Patty Turn Her Against Victor?

The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease that Summer Newman (previously portrayed by Allison Lanier) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) might soon find a reason to reconnect.

Despite Summer refusing to let Phyllis in when she attempted to visit her in Milan, there’s a compelling reason she could reconsider.

The Situation Is Already Dire

The situation is already dire, as Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has resorted to kidnapping Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) as part of his scheme to reclaim control over the Newman empire.

This development is sure to upset Summer, especially since she has a deep care for Jack, who also happens to be her boss due to Marchetti being under the Jabot umbrella.

However, the spoilers from Y&R indicate that the ally Victor has chosen could truly push Summer to her breaking point.

 Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk), known for her erratic behavior over the years, has a notorious history, including the incident where she deliberately triggered Summer’s peanut allergy.

Summer nearly died–how could Victor stoop so low as to ally himself with someone who put his granddaughter in a coma and nearly erased her from existence?

Summer Will No Doubt Have Some Questions!

That’s a question that Summer might find herself wanting to pose to Victor at some point in the future! Nevertheless, it seems that Summer could begin to view the entire situation through the lens of Phyllis’ perspective.

If Victor truly is the type of individual who would go so far as to abduct Jack and then send Patty to seduce him, then Summer may very well find herself with no reason to support him.

The fact that Summer nearly died from Patty’s actions could only make things worse! It’s possible that Summer could change her allegiance and thwart Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) scheme to completely turn her against Phyllis.

Summer May Turn On Victor And Align Herself With Her Mother

 Instead, Summer might choose to oppose Victor and align herself with Phyllis in her quest to seize his empire from him.

Victor certainly shouldn’t be allowed to escape accountability for all his atrocious actions while individuals like Phyllis are scrutinized for every minor infraction.

It’s evident that Victor has crossed the line this time, so perhaps Summer will retaliate and decide to distance herself from him for a period.

 Regardless of what happens, Victoria’s mission in Milan could very well end in chaos if the news of the Victor-Patty alliance reaches Italy in a timely manner.
