Not only that, but there’s also strong speculation suggesting that Donald Trump only ran for office because he wanted to show his wife Melania that whatever Obama could do, he could simply do better.
Not only that, but Donald also has a history of always criticizing Obama and having something to say about the things he does, the places he goes, and even his appearance. Some would even believe that Donald Trump might have a little bit of an obsession over Obama.
Of course, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter. Some even took to social media to weigh in with, “Honestly, I wouldn’t be shocked if the entire Trump presidency exists because Melania once said Obama was handsome. Trump is that shallow.”
“I can totally see him spending a decade and a fortune running for office just to prove something to his trophy wife.”
Another critic wrote, “Being humiliated at the White House Correspondents dinner probably was a reason too, along with showing Melania, but those certainly weren’t the only reasons, given that Trump had talked about becoming president years before.”
