General Hospital Spoilers: BLQ and Chase Adopt Delilah’s Baby — Just in Time for a Father to Come Knocking?

General Hospital spoilers suggest Delilah’s (Lily Cardone) role was short-lived, but it appears that her story is going to live on well beyond her.

As the staff at the hospital works to track down Delilah’s next of kin to let them know her baby girl is safe and waiting for them, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) appears downright wrecked over the death of a woman she knew only for a few hours.

Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) is lending the moral support he knows his wife needs at a time like this, but that doesn’t mean they’re both on the same page. Don’t get me wrong; neither of them are thinking about that baby right now as their own.

But if the hospital can’t track down any of Delilah’s family, it may end up being the perfect situation for Brook Lynn and Chase to adopt. But just because they can’t find her family now doesn’t mean that day won’t come.

General Hospital Spoilers — A Happy Home

Brook Lynn and Chase have finally decided to start the process to adopt a baby, but the last thing they’re expecting is that this will be an easy or short process.

We can’t be sure of how the details will flesh out, because it’s hardly typical that any random couple gets to take home a newborn baby just because they brought their mother into the hospital just before her death.

How they come to be caretakers for the child is anyone’s guess, but I do wonder whether Brook Lynn will battle any guilt over taking Delilah’s baby.

While it’s possible that the father of Delilah’s daughter might be someone we already know, I’m betting we don’t.

It doesn’t make much sense that any of the current men in town would have fathered a child and abandoned her altogether, or that they would later come back to stake a claim to the child.

With many fans thinking Delilah’s tattoo is some symbol that ties her to a cult like Dawn of Day, should we be expecting another cult leader to come back around? Is the fanbase ready for a rinse and repeat of that storyline?

General Hospital Spoilers — Not Again…

Remember back when Chase and Brook Lynn were playing the roles of Bailey Lu Jones’ (Miley and Riley Plonski) parents? Brook Lynn agreed to help Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) protect her daughter from Peter August (Wes Ramsey).

It worked out well for her since she was pretending to be pregnant with a child of her own. But when it was time for her and Chase to give the baby back to Maxie, it was devastating to them both, and especially to Brook Lynn.

They’ve been itching to raise a baby together for a long time now, and having to give back another baby to their legal parent could be the last straw for their already ebbing and flowing marriage.
