General Hospital Spoilers: Lulu’s Investigative Instincts Could Send Her Down a Very Different Path with Nathan

General Hospital spoilers leak Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) is fighting back her feelings for Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) out of respect for her bestie, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms).

While Maxie has chosen to stick it out with Damien Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), she and Nathan have only seen each other once. There’s time for that to change.

There’s also time for Maxie to grow uncomfortable with the idea of Nathan with anyone else, let alone her best friend. But something else also tells me Lulu’s hesitation may be coming from a different place that she hasn’t acknowledged yet.

She’s got the instincts of a Spencer; just look at who her parents are. Will Lulu sense something is off with Nathan and decide to dig in to figure out what that is while fooling him into thinking it’s something else entirely?

Nathan is clearly bent on seeing this though. His conversation with Maxie set him free of any expectation to wait around for her — at least, from his point of view. But Lulu knows what this looks like, and it’s not good.

If time really did pause for Nathan, we’re supposed to believe he was still as madly in love as ever with Maxie six months ago, but her time in a coma somehow undid that? Spinelli was so distraught over the thought of losing her, but it seemed like it really didn’t weigh on Nathan at all. If Lulu hasn’t considered that yet, she may be about to.

There’s nothing Lulu loves to cut her teeth on more than a good story. Investigating every detail to find the clues that lead her back to the truth about Nathan’s missing years is bound to throw all of us for a loop.

Will she continue to fall for Nathan while trying to figure out who he really is or what happened to him? Will it be too late to turn back the clock by the time she figures it out? If there is someone nefarious controlling Nathan or pretending to be him, will she survive to tell the story?
