Of course, we are talking about business takeovers and kidnapping storylines because it seems like it happens more often in this fictional town of Genoa City than fans would like to see. Can’t we just have a love triangle happen already?

For example, Phyllis Summers managed to kidnap Cane and now there’s even more talk about shady business dealings happening under the table. For a lot of viewers who have been watching this soap for decades, they think enough is enough.

Clearly, Y&R fans had a lot to say about the matter on social media.

Some even commented with, “How many more businesses and kidnapping storylines are they gonna do? It’s very repetitive. Today phyllis gets kidnapped by cane and more talk of business. Make it stop. They need new and fresh storylines.”

Another critic wrote, “All these kidnappings gotta stop there’s gotta be a better way….tired of kidnappings happening every few weeks.”
