But lately, they just don’t believe in him because of all the awful things that he’s done.
That’s why a lot of fans believe that the character needs to be redeemed somehow, but the question is: how? After all, there have been characters who have done way worse than Chase, and been redeemed.
In other words, what is it going to take to make Chase go from being one of the bad guys in Port Charles to someone that everyone can trust again?
Clearly, General Hospital fans certainly did have a lot to say about the matter on social media.
Some even commented with, “Chase has just been boring and flat for quite a while. Singing Chase was like nails on a chalkboard for me so I hope that never returns, but I think the character could still work if he could do something besides vacillate between naive and stupid.”
“If they are going to keep Chase around it’s time for him to become more than the dumb hot one.”
Another critic wrote, “I don’t mind Chase as a plot device, so long as it delivers. He needs to feel the sting of betrayal, lose his mind over how stupid he was and be publicly humiliated over it.
Make it have a real impact on his job, marriage and relationship with Willow. Then he needs to apologize to Michael.”
And then there was this comment as well: “To redeem Chase for me would just require him to know the truth and be genuinely remorseful for his actions.
I want to see him know how wrong he was about Willow and Michael, and I hope he fully turns on Willow and doesn’t try to rationalize or justify or put the blame on others.”
Then again, General Hospital fans will certainly have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next.

With the story lines on canvas at the moment, I feel redemption should be in in place for all except Sidwell & Friends. Writers have torn canvas apart and if all the characters involved no legendary or other long standing character could survive. I feel writers need to correct their wrongs and get on a path to bringing characters back to their previous personas in order to give viewers the content they enjoy watching daily, If poll were taken, I don't feel a large percentage of viewers are enjoying the never ending story lines nor the change in character persona on canvas now.. I feel writers should return to beginning a story line, an arc and an ending and not add chapters and chapters to that story line lasting for a years time. With a little imagination a story line could last the longest for six to eight months and everything needed to be told for that story line would have been. Of course this would make writers have to work harder to keep story lines moving, but something needs to be done as in my opinion, GH is losing what it has kept long time viewers fans.
