General Hospital Spoilers: How Will Nathan React To Finding Out Bailey Lou Is Peter’s?

General Hospital spoilers and updates reveal there is an important question to be answered, even though Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) seems to be more interested in Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) right now.

How will he react to finding out Bailey Lu Jones (Miley and Riley Plonski) is Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) moved on with his brother?

Maxie Didn’t Jump From Nathan Right Back To Spinelli

Viewers of the ABC soap will recall that Maxie didn’t jump from Nathan right back to Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) when Nathan died, or when she had started to heal.

For one thing, Spinelli was involved with someone else at the time, and he, Ellie Trout (Emily Wilson) and Georgie Spinelli (Lily Fisher).

Peter started out as a good friend to Maxie, when no one knew that he was really Heinrik Faison except Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and that was kept secret.

Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) may have known the truth, but that was before Peter was revealed to have inherited his father, Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) evil-in fact, Peter hated him.

He was the one that pulled the plug on Faison, causing him to die when on life support.

Nathan Hasn’t Met Bailey Lu Yet

Nathan hasn’t met Bailey Lu yet, and although he and Georgie know somewhat of each other, he has mainly gotten to know James West (Gary James Fuller).

That makes sense, because James is his son with Maxie, and he may not even know there’s a younger sister who came along after James did, who was born after Nathan “died”. Even if he does know about James’ little sister, he might assume she’s Spinelli’s as well as Georgie-but eventually, the truth will have to come out.

Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) and other people caught Nathan up on most relevant things that happened in his absence-except Bailey Lu! One wouldn’t think it would be left up to Maxie to tell the traumatic story of her romance with Peter and its aftermath, including his being obsessed with her, and his death.

How Will Nathan React To The Truth About Bailey Lu?

Even Liesl has avoided telling Nathan about Bailey Lu, and that Maxie had been involved with Heinrik, aka Peter, and that he was Bailey’s father-are they afraid of his reaction? Are they worried that Nathan would react badly, or perhaps even that he could feel rejected or something? Of course, the notion of Nathan feeling rejected, or jealous, or anything like that is ridiculous, he feels none of those things about Spinelli!

But then, it is true that Nathan’s focus and romantic attention is on Lulu for the time being, even though the two of them are trying even harder to fight it now that Maxie’s awake.

One would think that if someone tells Nathan the whole story about what happened with Peter, he’ll regret having not been there to save Maxie-and accept his niece!
