General Hospital Spoilers: Maxie Stunned By Spinelli’s Marriage Proposal

General Hospital spoilers hint that Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) could stun Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) with a marriage proposal.

Will he completely catch her off guard by getting down on one knee? What will her answer be? Let’s talk about it!

Damian Spinelli’s Plans

General Hospital spoilers remind fans that Spinelli had talked about planning to ask Maxie to marry him, just after she fell into her coma. In fact, at one point, he begged his Maximista to wake up so he could pop the question.

That never happened, and fast forward to today, and Spinelli has been feeling very insecure about where Maxie’s feelings lie.

That’s because her current husband, who was thought to be dead, Nathan West (Ryan Paevey), popped back into the land of the living in the fall of 2025.

Maxie was still in a coma when that happened, but has since awakened. As such, Spinelli has questioned whether or not his gal pal would run back into Nathan’s arms, or continue to do life with him, and the little family they’ve built.

Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) tried to convince Spinelli to “step aside” where Maxie was concerned as Nathan was back, during the Monday, February 16 episode

. With that said, Spinelli’s friends, both Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), reminded him that he was no consolation prize, and that Maxie wants to be with him.

Could this trigger Spinelli to press the button on a marriage proposal, sooner rather than later? He may feel as if the only upper hand that Nathan has right now is that, technically, Maxie is still married to him. Perhaps Spinelli will decide to “prove” his commitment to Maxie by getting down on one knee and proposing.

Not only has Spinelli wanted to do this, but he may feel as if it “levels the field” where he and Nathan are concerned. Then again, he may want to show Maxie just how much he loves her by proposing.

Still, what would Maxie’s response be? Would she say, “yes” – “maybe” – or give him a flat-out “no” considering the circumstances?
