The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Ridge Can’t Keep Secrets From Brooke – Taylor Knows What’s Coming

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) was determined to stop Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Hayes) from being reckless. He succeeded, leaving her with limited options.

This follows Steffy Forrester Finnegan’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) realization that her mother intended to be with Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan). Steffy implored Taylor to stop but she didn’t. So, an ultimatum was offered.

Ridge took a different approach. He was stern with Deacon but offered his hands to Taylor, believing she would be persuaded, and that happened. But how long will this effect hold?

Deacon Sharpe No Longer Loves His Wife

When did Deacon fall out of love with Sheila Carter Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown)?

The question above has to be asked because it wasn’t a slow drift. Instead, that flashpoint of conflict occurred when Deacon learned that Sheila had withheld Luna Nozawa’s (Lisa Yamada) existence from him.

It’s arguably debatable that Deacon would feel so betrayed that he would split from Sheila. Yet, that’s what he did. While the separation wasn’t long, it set the soapy stage for him seeing Taylor.

Therapy sessions with her wouldn’t have been needed unless Deacon’s mind was spinning. So, he was written to that dizzy state and could only see Taylor as his Guiding Light, with a reference to the beloved soap opera that represented Budig’s daytime debut. She played Michelle Bauer on GL from 1996 through 2007.

Ridge Forrester Needs Brooke Logan Forrester’s Help

Ridge has no reason to keep what he’s learned a secret. He needs his wife to help him keep Taylor from Deacon.

So, it’s natural that Ridge will tell Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) what he did.

Telling Brooke that Taylor and Deacon intended to be together, that Steffy learned what happened, threatened her mother to stop seeing him, or else, and that he appears to have convinced Taylor to change course, likely ahead.

Taylor’s ex-husband needs Brooke to tell Deacon to stay with his wife. She can also tell their daughter, Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle), not to encourage her father to leave Sheila and to relay that message to Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone).

They might not go along with her, but Lang’s character has a much better chance of getting through to Deacon than Ridge ever would.

Taylor Hayes’ Options Are Limited

Taylor has mixed feelings for Deacon. Yes, she reciprocated his message of love, and it was genuine.

However, she’s been the one to slow the development of this connection since it first began. Deacon has been full, soapy steam ahead and hasn’t considered the implications of the impact it will have on Sheila and others.

In his defense, Deacon’s children have encouraged him to leave Sheila and be with Taylor, who must make this call.

While it seems like this new pairing is inevitable, it’s not certain. A twist of some type would also elevate this storyline from unexpected to strongly compelling.
