The Young and the Restless Christel Khalil (Lily Winters) Officially Back On Y&R Set

The Young and the Restless spoilers note that Lily Winters left the canvas in January 2025, going to pay her daughter, Mattie Ashby (last played by Lexie Stevenson), a visit.

This was all part of a way to write Christel Khalil out of storylines, as she was heading off on her maternity leave to welcome baby number three. With that being said, Khalil recently posted an update on social media.

She’s Back, Baby!

Khalil recently posted a photo of herself and her newborn in her garage home gym, on her Instagram Story, indicating she was “training” for Lily’s return.

On the evening of Friday, February 6, Khalil uploaded another IG Story, confirming she was back on set!

The photo was a selfie, alongside Y&R colleague, Billy Flynn (Cane Ashby), adding the caption, “Guess who’s back … ?!” She also posted a video of her joking around with fellow Young and the Restless co-star Michael Graziadei (Daniel Romalotti).

Laying The Groundwork

If this week was the first week Khalil returned to filming, then fans should expect Lily’s return to be in and around the month of March.

Still, there’s a chance Khalil is swerving fans, and if she’s shot scenes earlier, then her comeback could be at any point. Only time will tell.

That said, the CBS daytime drama certainly is laying down the groundwork for Lily’s return, as her name has been dropped multiple times this week.

As it stands, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is trying to snag back Newman Enterprises from Cane – and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) – and he’s created a scenario which makes it seem as if he’s kidnapped Lily and Cane’s twins; holding them hostage until Cane signs back the company Victor has spent years building.

Apparently, Lily agreed to help Victor, but it sounds like The Moustache has given Lily something in return. Has he signed over Chancellor Industries to her?
