The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Ivy’s Threat Turns Real as Dylan’s Dark Secret Emerges

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Ivy Forrester (Ashleigh Brewer) means business. She wants to protect her niece, but might be endangering multiple lives.

Ivy got out of her sick bed and rushed to the beach house, where she believed Dylan (Sydney Bullock) was making a play for Electra Forrester’s (Laneya Grace) boyfriend.

Dylan denied Ivy’s assertion, stating that Electra is her friend and that Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) is a nice guy.

Viewers were clued into Dylan’s true feelings weeks before Ivy injected herself into this high school drama-type storyline. This plot path feels teenager-ish unless it’s setting up a major twist.

Ivy Forrester Was The Plot Vehicle

Devoted viewers recall that Brewer returned to the cast in 2024 after not being on the show since 2018. Ivy’s purpose was to introduce her niece, Electra.

Ivy’s backstory includes a brief marriage to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). She tried to reignite that flame, but her turned her down.

That was during the period when Liam decided to reunite his family, which has since happened through the recent remarriage to Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle).

It’s a shame more isn’t being written for Brewer’s character. She’s a solid actor and would benefit from an independent story. Although it’s possible she’s being written into the soapy danger zone.

Electra Forrester’s Concerns Are Legitimate

Will likes Dylan, but he’s not in love with her. The call he made to Electra after Hayes Finnegan (Bryan David Garlick) wore him and Dylanout reinforced his true feelings.

Morrow’s character is Electra’s first real boyfriend, and she appears to be the first true love of his life.

The text he sent to her, when she and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) were staying in San Francisco, California, on the jewelry line business trip, was sweet.

But Ivy’s threat drew a line in the California sand. Either Dylan leaves town forever, or Ivy’s going to tell Electra what she thinks she saw. That normally would produce a conflict scene, where Electra confronts Dylan, Will, or both.

Dylan About To Be Revealed

One way or another, Dylan is about to be revealed. Ivy has a strong position, and all she needs to do is relay what she saw through the window and while in the bushes at the beach house.

Alternatively, if Dylan is revealed to the audience as a far darker character than she appears to be, then Ivy could be eliminated. Here’s hoping Brewer’s character isn’t silenced, but it’s plausible if Dylan is unbalanced.

There is another possibility as well. Dylan could be connected to an existing B&B character, like Sheila Carter Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown).

Losing Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) and then reconnecting with one of her children or grandchildren who hasn’t been seen on-screen would make sense. Plus, it would be ironic if the woman who accidentally killed Luna was also her relative.
