Of course, we are talking about Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) as there has been a lot going on off screen that fans simply have not seen on screen and want to know why.
In fact, it’s been stated that Jason rescued Britt from drowning in freezing water, but it all happened off screen. If that weren’t enough, Jason and Britt also got very busy under the sheets, but fans didn’t get to see that scene in action, either!
Why is it that we are getting so much backstory about Britt and Jason, but are not actually seeing any of it in front of the cameras? Clearly, General Hospital fans had a lot to say about the matter on social media.
Some even commented with, “I noticed this as well. I came to the assumption that Steve is recently remarried and maybe he decided not to have public love scenes anymore.”
“It could be a stretch but I remember him having love scenes in the past while in his previous marriage. This time around is he taking a different approach out of respect for his new wife?”
And then there was this comment as well: “I had to go back to the previous episode when the Jason and Britt scene popped up and he’d supposedly rescued her from the water. Sidwell tells Britt she’s not going anywhere when she tries to leave, and then boom she’s in that weird scene with Jason.”
And then there was this comment as well: “They give us that disgusting crap with Carly and Brennan (she could manipulate him without sex), but then pull this crap. I’m no fan of Jason and Britt but the pacing of that whole rescue and love scene was terrible.”
“I did like Lulu and Nathan ‘s scenes, just wish they hadn’t stopped.”

Jason/Britt finally did the do a situation which many were waiting for. Did it have to be visualized instead of being implied for fans to be happy?? In my opinion being implied was enough. Guess writers just can't please viewers. Whether or not SB doesn't care for visualized love scenes is his preference if this is actually the reason as to the why the scene was not televised. Always something to cause problems as far as viewers are concerned. Even a viewer who is not a Jason/Britt fan, questioned why the event was not televised. If SB does not want to be televised in this manner will it cause fans to stop liking him???
