General Hospital Spoilers: This Ain’t Your Grandma’s WSB – Cullum is a Dirty Dog Hellbent on Destruction

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that WSB honcho Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and Jens Sidwell (Carlo Rota) are in a race against time to develop Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) final project.

Of course the ultra dangerous project is dastardly and deadly, and intrepid WSB/DVX/PCPD agent Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is in the middle of the mess. She is being held prisoner at Wyndemere and the brainwashing she is undergoing is downright scary.

Who exactly is Cullum and why is he so invested in Faison’s work? We’re here to address these questions and take a look at one of daytime’s most disgustingly creepy and scary villains since Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers).

Anna is a Hostage

When Ross Cullum debuted on GH on Wednesday, January 14, his sour demeanor sent chills up the spines of fans used to scary creatures inhabiting PC.

Cullum was shown to be Sidwell’s partner in crime and he’s Jack Brennan’s (Chris McKenna) WSB boss.

There’s just something about the menacing man that is almost an otherworldly kind of evil. His eyes don’t blink, his face is granite, and to be frank, Cullum seems to suck the life out of every room he’s in.

Andrew Hawkes hit it out of the park with his chilling debut and fans can’t stop talking about the latest meanie to roam the PC docks.

Who is Andrew Hawkes?

Hawkes is a Houston native and has a slew of stage and prime-time credits to his name including Chicago PD, NCIS, Community, CSI, Dexter, ER, and The Rookie. His first daytime role came on CBS’s The Young and Restless in 2014, where he played a thief.

Cullum is also a well-known voice actor who appears in the video game series Call of Duty: Black Ops.

Hawkes’ GH character is in deep with slimy Jens Sidwell and they are determined to complete the final project of the deranged and we presume deadCesar Faison.

Is Cesar Faison Dead?

Cold fusion is at the heart of the project and to that end Faison’s daughter, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), is being forced to work on the unsavory scheme.

Her life depends on it as the men are providing her life saving Huntington’s disease medication to stay alive and well. If she strays, her medication will be cut off and that is the only thing keeping her tied to the project.

In his first scene with Sidwell, Cullum discussed their plan to take Anna awayfrom Wyndemere.

What Happens Next with Ross Cullum?

Hawkes told TV Insider that Cullum is “quietly ruthless, dangerous, single-minded character.” He auditioned with Laura Wright who plays Carly Corinthos and shared that “Everybody has been awfully kind and sweet to me.”
He added that “Chris McKenna is my boy. We’re adversarial in the show but he’s such a good guy” and noted that “Carlo of course, is fantastic and so much fun to work with.”
