The Young And The Restless Spoilers Wednesday, January 28: Nate Plays Hero, Abby Loses Her Grip, Sally’s Move

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, January 28 point to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) finding a hero while Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway) goes berserk about Dominic Winters’ (Ethan Ray Clark) kidnapping.

Victoria is Exhausted

With Newman Enterprises going under, Victoria is beside herself and could use an ally. Luckily, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) is standing by to give his friend a hand.

Nate and Victoria haven’t left the friend zone yet despite being involved years back. Victoria feels comfortable leaning on him and we’ve got to wonder if their latest love mishaps will bring them closer to reconciliation?

TBH, months ago the show backed off what looked like a reunion after Cole Howard died (J. Eddie Peck) and in the past their romance was dropped. Is the audience ready for Victoria to be with Nate in 2026?

Audra is Excited

Meanwhile Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) gets a ray of hope for her own life. Does this mean that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) offers her a job after not being able to contact Jill Abbott (Jess Walton)?

Jill’s health has taken a nosedive and she is out of reach at the moment. If Sally acts without consulting her, Audra could take the job in an attempt to prove her worth to someone—anyone at this point.

It could also mean that Sally is feeling her oats as the head of Abbott Communications.

Where is Dominic?

Elsewhere, at the Chancellor mansion, Abby panics Dominic’s disappearance. Both parents now realize that Dom isn’t playing a game, he is well and truly missing.

As it starts to get dark, with no one on the grounds reporting seeing him, Devon and Abby begin to worry—what they need to do is call the police!
The frantic parents vow to find their son but they have no idea what has happened to the poor boy.

Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) has the child she carried as a surrogate for Abby and lord knows what her next move is.

What Goes Down Next With Mariah?

Mariah is being influenced by “Ian Ward” (Ray Wise) and he is as slimy and incoherent as ever–he tells her to take Dominic where they’ll never be found.
What Mariah needs is some coherent writing to get her out of this mess—will it happen or will we be subjected to cinematic cream of wheat forever on this one?
