General Hospital Katelyn MacMullen Gives Cynthia Watros Quite The Shock

General Hospital spoilers note that Willow Cain and Nina Reeves may have an on-again/off-again mother-daughter relationship; however, their portrayers, Katelyn MacMullen and Cynthia Watros, seem to be the best of friends.

MacMullen recently gave her onscreen mom quite a shock, in the most beautiful way. More on this story, below.

Instagram Worthy

A behind-the-scenes video was posted on General Hospital’s Instagram handle recently of MacMullen and Watros.

MacMullen had her arm around Watros as she was leading her somewhere backstage, telling her, “Cynthia, there’s a little surprise for you … it’s a belated birthday gift.”

MacMullen went on to say, “It was an international package, so it got caught in customs. This is from a fan.

Her name is Brittany… she made this just for you.” The two entered Nina’s office at Crimson, when Watros exclaimed, “Oh my gosh, can you believe it?! Finally got here!” The camera zeroed in on a miniature replica of Nina’s Crimson desk! Watros noted, it had, “…the cutest little desk of Crimson with a little chair and the red notebook like I have,” as she held the replica in her hand. Watros added, “This is so cute. Thank you so much, and I’m so happy we finally have it!”

The caption on the IG video was, “We couldn’t wait to surprise @watros.watros with a very belated birthday gift. 🎂🎁 @katey_macmullen #GH #GeneralHospital #BehindtheScenes”

Fellow GHers to “heart” the Instagram post included, Finola Hughes (Anna Devane), Rory Gibson (Michael Corinthos), Laura Wright (Carly Spencer), Parry Shen (Brad Cooper), and MacMullen, too!

Meanwhile, Nina would be in for a not-so-good shock if Willow told her the truth about Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) shooting … and that she was the one behind the two bullets that went through his back! Although that might be child’s play compared to Willow being behind Drew’s fake stroke, which has left him lifeless.

Will Willow confess this all to her mom?
