Days Of Our Lives’ Cary Christopher Reveals His Final Airdate

Days of Our Lives spoilers note that Christopher Cary will sadly be exiting the role of Thomas DiMera due to other projects, very soon. The young actor recently revealed his final airdate on the Peacock soap.

Cary Christopher’s Departure

In October 2025, Cary posted on Facebook, sharing his departure from Days of Our Lives. The reason behind it was due to becoming a series regular on a new show for Amazon Prime, which is slated to debut in 2026.

Cary wrote, “Days of Our Lives was such a dream set to work on. I started on this beloved soap when I was just 4. How lucky am I that I got to call it my home for almost six years?!”

As the show shoots months in advance, Cary has still been seen on the soap opera despite his exit; however, his “days” on Days are coming to a close.

Cary Christopher Updates Fans

Cary hopped on Facebook once again to share his last airdate on Days of Our Lives. He let fans know it’ll be next month, sometime in February. Cary states, “I have three more episodes as Thomas DiMera, with the next one airing on January 21.”

Days of Our Lives fans will see Cary as Thomas during the week of January 19-23 as his dad, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), and his grandparents, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Melissa Reeves), try to iron out a child custody arrangement.

In addition, Cary also let fans know that on January 25, his new series, “It’s Not Like That” debuts. The young actor notes, “I think you will absolutely love it.” Cary also informed fans that he’s in Berlin, currently working on another project.

It’s important to note that a “new Thomas” will debut on the soap, starting this April. In fact, Cary relayed this on Facebook, “It’s been such a great ride! Please welcome the new Thomas with open arms.”

Here’s hoping fans do, the new actor is sure to do an incredible job, even though Cary will be missed!
