The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, January 16 hint that the Newman family is front and center as Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) continues to dominate their everyday existence.

Diane thinks that Michael is back in Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) good graces and pushes him to spill what he knows.

Diane knows a little–that Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) took down Victor—but she wants more tea.

Diane is thrilled that Victor is in the weeds, but a very serious Michael could remind her that Victor is never down for long!

Although Cane’s insidious AI program may have taken a chunk out of NE, Michael believes that Victor can and will come back from the precipice.

Elsewhere, Noah learns shocking news about Matt. Matt is currently in the Abbotts’ “custody.” Victor wasn’t interested in him, so Jack reluctantly walked his pawn back. How will Noah react to the stunning news that grandpa let his mortal enemy go free?
