Days of Our Lives spoilers note that it isn’t every day that fans get to see Bonnie Kiriakis, played by Judi Evans, on the Peacock soap, so it’s a welcome surprise that she’ll be a part of things during the week of January 5-9.

Teasers note that on the Wednesday, January 7 show, Bonnie will get some bad news from Kate Roberts Brady, played by Lauren Koslow. Bonnie has written a book, and with Titan’s financial woes, will it end up being published?

In other news, Dimitri von Leuschner is officially back in town, as actor Peter Porte has reprised the role.

He shockingly stumbled upon newlyweds, Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) and Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon), after they said their vows at the close of the Friday, January 2 episode.

Dimitri will be back in full force during the week of January 5, and viewers need to brace for a heated confrontation between him and Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) during the Tuesday, January 6 show. How ugly will this encounter get?

See You Soon, Lucas Horton

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of January 5 imply that Lucas Horton, played by Bryan Dattilo, has officially wrapped up his recent run on the soap.

Lucas returned for the launch of the Tom Horton (Macdonald Carey) Free Clinic event and stayed for the holidays.

With that said, it sounds like Lucas will be off the canvas for a little bit until his next visit to Salem. It was awesome while it lasted, right?
