The Young and the Restless Spoilers Tuesday, December 30: Claire’s Conditional Date, Michael Bluffs, Nikki Opens Jack’s Eyes

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, December 30 reveal that Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) goes on the defense, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) tricks Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) unburdens herself to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).

The year is winding down in spectacular fashion in GC, with intrigue, double-dealing and new romantic entanglements all on the menu.

Michael Goes Rogue

After a heartfelt talk with his wife Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman), Michael goes forward with a plan to stop Victor in his AI tracks.

The question now is how Michael will wrest the AI program away without Victor knowing who did it. Michael doubles down on the part about being a devoted Newman minion and Victor praises him for his loyalty.

Michael will be rewarded for his allegiance which prods his guilty conscience. But it doesn’t stop him from being confident that he’ll pull the wool over Victor’s eyes—you know what they say: pride goeth before a fall!

Nikki Spills Too Much

Meanwhile, loose-lips Nikki tells Jack a secret. Is it that it was Michael who told Victor about Jabot going offline? In doing so, it was Michael who enabled Newman Media’s attack on Abbott Communications.

So, if Nikki spills about Michael, this complicates Jack and Diane Jenkins Abbott’s (Susan Walters) expectation that Michael can help them. Perhaps the players involved will stage a fight in front of Victor, leading him to believe that Michael is all in on being loyal to him.

Can Victor be Hoodwinked?

Elsewhere, would-be-family-assassin Claire has to think fast after throwing a drink in Audra Charles’ (Zuleyka Silver) face, as Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) tries to keep the peace.

Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is over Claire and her wishy-washy ways so will she seek him out or resign herself to fun with Holden?
