Wedding Joy

Before getting to the 2-weekers, let’s discuss what is coming up from December 29 to January 2. Fans can expect Leo to turn to Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) for a favor. Then, in a preview clip, we can see Marlena officiating Leo and Javi’s wedding. It’s a full house, and even Gwen Rizczech von Leuschner (Emily O’Brien) is there.

However, Salem weddings never seem to go as expected!

Sophia Choi’s Surprise Visitor

Over at Bayview, both Rachel and Sophia will receive visitors on New Year’s Eve. As for Rachel, that is likely a family member. Perhaps Tate Black (Leo Howard), since he’s not going to Paris with Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) anymore. Tate might have some questions about Rachel’s friendship with Sophia.

Before, Tate suggested to Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) that it might be easier for Sophia to talk to a child than a grown-up. However, Tate might start to get a weird feeling.

That same day, Sophia gets a visitor. Could it be Tate, trying to figure out if Sophia is really talking or not?

What Else to Expect

As for what else to expect this week, Marlena gets some comfort from Roman Brady (Josh Taylor). The holidays are really hard for those who have lost loved ones.

Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) finally returns to Salem. The woman will have a joyous reunion with Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis).

Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) has Christmas with Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) and Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier). Later, Kate teams up with Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer)!

EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) wants to pull the plug on Peter Blake (Dan Gauthier). However, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will be torn over what to do.

Belle Black (Martha Madison) tries to make a deal with Melinda Trask (Tina Huang). 

Meanwhile, Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) resents Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman). It sounds like he might not be as excited about the baby news.

Next 2 Weeks

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of January 5 reveal that Chanel and Johnny could have more marriage problems. Chanel is excited to be pregnant, but Johnny might worry how they are going to handle another infant. They are already pretty stressed out.

There is also Stephanie Johnson’s (Abigail Klein) stalker. Although the powder was just sugar, that could have been a warning. Will the man strike again?

There should also be some news on Rachel’s fate. While everyone thinks Rachel could get off pretty easily, there could be an unexpected twist.
