Days Of Our Lives Comings & Goings Dec 29-Jan 2: Major Character Comeback, Leading Lady Returns

Days of Our Lives spoilers note some major moments in Salem during the week of December 29-January 2! There’s also some casting news to talk about, too! Find out who’s coming and who’s going on the Peacock soap over the next five days by reading below.

Dimitri Von Leuschner Returns

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Dimitri Von Leuschner, played by Peter Porte, will make a splashing comeback to Salem, just in time for Leo Stark’s (Greg Rikaart) wedding to Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon). Porte’s return date is slated for Friday, January 2, 2026. Dimitri was last seen on canvas in December 2023.

Welcome Back, Anna DiMera

In addition, Leann Hunley is set to reprise her Anna DiMera role. She’s seen in Days’s weekly promo, hugging her husband, Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis).

The super couple will enjoy a reunion during the Tuesday, December 30 show. Fans may recall that Tony went missing while he and Anna were on a cruise, so she’ll be ecstatic to see him again and know he’s safe.

More Casting Notes

Days of Our Lives fans will see Lucas Horton onscreen, as Bryan Dattilo continues with his latest run. He’ll be on the Monday, December 29 episode, sharing some Christmas time with brother, Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier), and his mom, Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow).

In addition, Stacy Haiduk will continue to pull double-duty on the Peacock soap. She’ll be seen during the week of December 29-January 2 as Kristen DiMera, and will also share scenes as Susan Banks, EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) mom. The mom and son will be on the Tuesday, December 30 episode.

Finally, Melinda Trask will appear on the Wednesday, December 31 episode, as she shares scenes with Belle Black (Martha Madison), as well as Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd).
