Days Of Our Lives Spoilers Next 2 Weeks: Hostages Freed, Chanel’s Curveball, NYE Drama

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the next two weeks suggest some twists! Expect there to be drama as we approach New Year’s Eve.

The hostages in the DiMera crypt are finally freed.

Plus, there is a curveball ahead for Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens). Keep reading, and let’s talk about what is coming up in the Peacock soap opera.

DiMera Hostages Freed

Before getting to the 2-weekers, let’s discuss what is coming up from December 22 to 26, 2025. Fans can expect the hostages to finally be freed.

It seems that Peter Blake (Dan Gauthier) will tell his co-captives a secret. However, is he really behind the kidnappings? After all, he is the last one before they all get free. 

Confrontations & Confessions

Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will be hospitalized for her infection and fever. While she is recovering, she will get a visit from Brady Black (Eric Martsolf).

Brady will have to explain why Rachel Black (Alice Halsey) is in Bayview. Meanwhile, Kristen will need to tell Brady why she didn’t let him in on her sacrifice for their little girl.

As for Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews), he ends up unconscious. However, after the rescue, Abe Carver (James Reynolds) shows up at Theo’s hospital bed. 

Tate Black (Leo Howard) will have to share some bad news with Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis).

It sounds like Tate will have to cancel the trip. Between Rachel’s hospitalization,  his father’s new crisis, and failing college, Tate has a lot on his plate.

There is also the Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) situation now that Rachel has blabbed the identity of her new Bayview friend.

What Else to Expect

As for what else is coming up this week, Gwen Rizczech von Leuschner (Emily O’Brien) finds common ground with Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez). They both have secrets that could destroy their lives, each with a DiMera. 

Plus, Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) postpones Christmas in light of the missing captives.

However, a preview clip shows Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) reunited with Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher). In fact, Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Lani Price Grant (Sal Stowers) are also there.

Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) visits Rachel in Bayview. Kristen must tell Brady that she swore Marlena to secrecy. 

Week of December 29, 2025

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the next 2 weeks reveal that Lani comforts JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss). Christmas will be a hard time since Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) death.

Plus, the shooting with Theo happened around the holidays as JJ contemplated ending it all on Christmas Eve. It was actually how Eli ended up with Lani in the first place.

As for Chanel, her HCG levels were high. While Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) worried Chanel’s cancer could be back, it could indicate a pregnancy as well! That will be complicated for JANEL, though.

They are already having a tough time with the baby they adopted. Plus, pregnancy is life-threatening for both Chanel and the baby.

Chanel might not want to tell anyone until after the holidays. However, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) might both suspect something is wrong.

There will likely be some New Year’s parties and surprises as well, so stay tuned!
