Days of Our Lives spoilers note that Peter Blake will return during the Friday, December 19 episode, as actor Dan Gauthier has been recast in the role.

Fans may remember Gauthier for playing Kevin Buchanan on One Life to Live. What brings Peter back to the canvas, and is he behind all the DiMeras being kidnapped?

Speaking of Peter, his sister Kristen DiMera will be back on canvas, too, as Stacy Haiduk plays double duty as both the DiMera vixen and Susan Banks.

Rita Returns

Days spoilers suggest that Maggie Carney will reprise the role of Rita, DiMera Enterprises’ faithful assistant.

Rita has often worked by EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) side but has also been known to help the other DiMeras when something nefarious needs to be done. What brings her back to storylines?

Days of Our Lives fans can expect to see Liam Selejko during the week of December 15, as actor Hank Northrop is back onscreen.

In addition, Melissa Reeves will be seen as Jennifer Horton Deveraux, who has bad news for her grandson, Thomas DiMera, played by Cary Christopher.

Is this about Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn)? She may finally get confirmation on what she’d been suspecting: that he, along with the other DiMeras, has been kidnapped. At least everyone is finally aware of this, right?

In other news, actor Jonah Robinson is back on the canvas, as Dr. Mark Greene will be seen this week. Mark is in the Days weekly preview video, and will be working away at the lab when the FBI comes knocking at the door.
