General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny and Laura are in Dire Straits — Who Can Save Them?

General Hospital spoilers suggest Sonny Corinthos (Rory Gibson) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) have really done it this time.

They’re both culpable, despite neither of them being nearly as guilty as Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota).

The sinister Sidwell played his cards just right this time to position both of his enemies squarely where he needed them to be.

Hoping to hook Laura, he never imagined he would get Sonny in the process as a two-for-one.

Now, these two will have to work closely and quietly to get out from under Sidwell’s thumb, and I’d be lying if I pretended to have any idea how they’re going to do it, but I doubt they’re going to be able to do it alone.

Who will they pull into the mix to save them?

Dante and DA Turner Pull a Fast One?

Although District Attorney Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) sold her story this week as though she has been pretending to befriend Sonny, we aren’t buying it, are we GH fans? With her on board and well aware of how much worse Sidwell is than Sonny, and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) as Acting Police Commissioner, might they conspire to give Sonny and Laura some grace? Could they all end up in cahoots to take Sidwell down?

GH Spoilers Spill All Attorneys on Deck!

Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) could return soon to save Sonny from himself, but she wouldn’t be able to represent Laura at the same time. However, her reappearance at this juncture seems unlikely.

Currently, Sonny has his half-brother Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) in his corner, whom he has just decided to embrace with mostly open arms.

Will Ric sabotage his brother, or stick by his side? As for Laura, her brother might be in her corner, too, given that Martin ‘Marty’ Grey (Michael E. Knight) is trying to earn back her respect.

Might he have gleaned something from Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) dealings with Sidwell that could help? There’s another attorney in the mix who could turn this situation on its head though, and that’s Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo).

If his love for Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) has him suffering from a crisis of conscience, will he turn on his own dad and save the mayor and her mobster bestie?

Britt Blows the Whistle?

Last but not least, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) knows the truth! Sidwell shot and killed Professor Henry ‘Hank’ Dalton (Daniel Goddard) in cold blood just inches from her face.

She certainly hasn’t forgotten that trauma, and it’s probably part of why she was drowning her sorrows at the corner bar this past week.

As Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) inches closer to what Britt is hiding, and perhaps shares what’s happening in his world, will they put two and two together and realize the truth may set them all free?
