She woke up in a cell with a male voice on the loud speaker telling her she was going to be living a different life moving forward.
Let’s not get that twisted. Initially, longtime fans jumped with glee thinking Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) was back to mind map her, but the truth is, they could have just meant she’s not going back to her normal life right now.
It appears that’s all that’s been happening, and everyone watching is not here for that.
The fan base is just slightly up in arms over this storyline. For a minute there, it made sense that it might have been Cesar who kidnapped her, and plenty were here for it.
But the more we put the puzzle pieces together, the more this is looking like someone else is behind it and that there is no real point in this kidnapping in terms of harming Anna.
Don’t get me wrong; no one wants Anna to be hurt, but fans are struggling to understand what’s going on weeks later with no progress on the storyline. Great, Anna is fumbling around a makeship college dorm of sorts with a two-way mirror installed so she lives like a goldfish. Anything else?
If you’re not digging the slow crawl of this plotline, you’re not alone. I can’t even conceive of when Anna went missing at this point. Remember how Laura Collins (Genie Francis) checked in with Emma Scorpio Drake (Bradyn Bruner) when it seemed all too fishy that Anna just disappeared without a word on a WSB mission?
Why has there been no follow-up? Even Emma is supposed to be comfy with her grandma just ghosting her? @SidneyNicolex_ shared on X, “I don’t even remember how Anna got kidnapped it’s been so long lol I think the last time I saw her on an episode is when Nathan first came back.” No truer words, right? @Brunson4MVP notes, “Yo…where the hell is Anna? How long has it been since she was kidnapped?” Alas, a newer fan theory has emerged that points the finger of blame right at Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna). But what motive would he have for locking Anna away?
If it is Jack who has kidnaped Anna, then it makes sense that he might have done it pre-emptively to protect himself from Anna coming to Valentin’s defense.
It wouldn’t surprise anyone if Jack expected Valentin to escape during transit. Goodness, he may have even arranged to make it easier on the guy with that complicit guard.
Regardless, getting Valentin out in the world as a fugitive is Jack’s easiest excuse to have him killed, right? He couldn’t have Anna around to stop that. What do you think? Sound off in the comments, and stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead.
