Of course, we are talking about Gio Palmeri (Giovanni Mazza) and Emma Drake (Braedyn Bruner).
It’s safe to say that Gio and Emma have become everyone’s favorite couple on the soap right now and there seems to be a good reason behind it, too (and it’s not just because they are adorable together).
Clearly, General Hospital fans certainly did have a lot to say about the matter on social media.
Some even commented with, “I really love Emma and Gio, Trina and Kai are okay but Kai pales in comparison to Spencer.”
“I liked when Josslyn was with Dex, I was very sad when they killed him off, I liked him a lot. The trio of Charlotte, Danny, and Rocco are great, love them!”
Another fan of the show wrote, “I enjoy Gio and Emma. I do think they need to invest in younger generations if they want to keep soaps on the air.”
“YNR is increasingly stale because they absolutely have not invested in any characters younger than their 30s.”
And then there was this comment as well: “Gio and Emma are the best among the couples mentioned by OP. What GH should do is move away from coupling those who do not work.”
“I especially think of the awful pairing of extramarital affairs involving spouses Curtis and Portia looking to Isaiah and Jordan. The latter two should have been paired; but were derailed; and the character development for Dr. Gannon is non-existent.”
It goes without saying that General Hospital fans will simply have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next.

The two could be a good match if writers would allow Emma to stop being so obsessed with animal cruelty which is the reason for all of the problems with the teens. Emma needs to take a time out and consider a different approach to handling the problem she is so passionate about.
