The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Bill Complicates Reunion By Pushing Katie To Spencer Publications?

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers indicate that Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) had his long-sought wish granted. Katie Logan (Heather Tom) is back in his personal life but now he wants her working at Spencer Publications as well.

Getting his Katie back should be enough. However, the brain trust at Forrester Creations, meaning Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), felt that their head of public relations needed a respite.

Ridge and Brooke’s decision was well-intentioned. But Katie was a bit thrown by the choice to outsource media matters to a firm rather than let Tom’s character remain involved. They want her to take a mental break following the intensity of Luna Nozawa’s (Lisa Yamada) drama and death.

Brooke Logan Wants The Best For Her Sister

Brooke knows her sister better than anyone, including Bill. She is right to want Katie not to be peppered with a barrage of relatively pointless questions about all things Luna.

Ridge co-heads FC with his daughter, Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). He was on board with her taking an extended trip with her children in recent months.

Steffy also needed time away to clear her head after Luna supposedly died on the operating table last summer. So, Ridge is following precedent in allowing key members of his family’s beauty team to have time away from work when needed.

Bill Spencer Believes In Family As Well

There’s nothing wrong with family working together. That’s what family businesses are on both sides of the screen.

FC has been staffed by many family and extended family members since the show debuted in 1987. So, the history of that company, as is true of Spencer Publications, involves generations filling vital roles.

Bill’s hope to have Katie and their son, Will Spencer (Crew Morrow), work for his family company is natural. Yes, he is using a perceived slight as an opportunity. However, like Brooke and Ridge, Bill’s efforts are good.

But would it be wise for Katie to work for Bill so soon after reuniting with him?

Katie Logan’s History Doesn’t Have To Be Her Future

Katie and Bill have a long, tortured history. There was more than one instance where he treated her terribly, which led to multiple breakups.

Of course, Bill’s involvement with Brooke hurt Katie terribly. But Brooke and Ridge are as together as they can be, and she represents no threat to Katie at this point.

Bill has evolved in ways that Katie clearly recognized. That’s the main reason why she feels confident in their reunion after they’ve been divorced for so many years.

However, it would be best for her to take time and carefully consider whether being with Bill at home and work would unduly stress their just-revived connection. Will would be wise to follow the same path if his dad pushes him to switch to Spencer Publications as well.
