One Life to Live Alum Dan Gauthier Joins Days Of Our Lives Cast

Days of Our Lives spoilers imply a new face will enter the land of Salem, but it may be a familiar one to some. One Life to Live’s (OLTL) Dan Gauthier, who played Kevin Buchanan, is set to debut on the Peacock soap in December, and CTS has the scoop for you.

Days of Our Lives has done a tremendous job keeping this major casting news hush-hush, considering they film eight months in advance now.

Still, the most recent edition of TV Guide Magazine is reporting that Gauthier is slated to debut on the daytime drama very soon, as Peter Blake. His first appearance takes place on Thursday, December 18.

Longtime DOOL fans may recall that Peter Blake is the younger brother of Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk). As viewers know, Kristen and Peter are not blood DiMeras; Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) adopted them.

The original Peter Blake was played by Jason Brooks from 1993 to 1998, and the character was romantically linked to Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Melissa Reeves).

Dan Gauthier’s Resume

As mentioned, most soap fans know Gauthier as Kevin Buchanan from OLTL, a role he played from 2003 to 2010, who also appeared in Pine Valley on All My Children from 2004 to 2005 during some guest appearances.

In 2007, the actor earned a Daytime Emmy nod for his work on OLTL in the Outstanding Supporting Actor category.

Still, Gauthier is no stranger to the land of primetime, with recurring roles in the ’90s on top shows like Beverly Hills 90210, Ellen, and MelRose Place.

With that said, he’s also had a slew of guest appearances on some major shows like Friends, Will & Grace, The Love Boat: The Next Wave, Rude Awakening, Lost, Criminal Minds, NCIS: Los Angeles, and so much more.

Gauthier has been married to actress Lisa Fuller, who’s been in movies The Monster Squad, Teen Witch, and Night Life, since 1990. The couple shares a child.
