General Hospital Spoilers: Does Michael Know More About Willow’s Impending Marriage to Drew Than He’s Letting On?

General Hospital spoilers leak Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) has been watching from the sidelines as Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) makes one disastrous move after another in her life.

He is more convinced than ever that she is a danger to their children and cannot be trusted to even spend time with them.

Still, he seems to be taking it all in like he’s watching a movie play out where he already knows the end.

Maybe it’s easy to assert that this union won’t result in a happily ever after storyline, but could Michael have his own theory as to why Willow wants to hitch her wagon to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), and might it have something to do with what he saw the night Drew was shot?

Michael Had a Front Row Seat

Michael was at Drew’s the night of the shooting, though few people know that and many would like to use it against him if they did. But fans have speculated all along that Michael actually saw who shot Drew.

Could it be that he knows it’s not Willow but wants to protect whoever it was? Sure. It’s also possible he wants to use their crime to his advantage to target Willow and get her locked up, but it’s sounding even more likely that he may know she did it — even if she has no recollection of it.

Maybe that’s why he’s so convinced his ex-wife isn’t stable enough to be around their children, because he knows she can’t even recall shooting the man she claims to love.

GH Spoilers Reveal Willow Could Seek to Finish the Job

If Michael knows that Willow shot Drew, he could be curious as to whether she has since remembered that traumatic night and what she did in that rainstorm after leaving the hospital to “clear her head.” Certainly, Willow isn’t going to come clean and tell him so, but if she did remember shooting him, Michael might theorize that she wants to stay close to Drew as a means of preserving her innocence, as well as making it easier on herself to get a second chance to do the Congressman in for good.

A Smug Smile Said It All

When Willow first got out of jail, she skipped over to the Metro Court where she found Michael and Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) dining with Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell).

Willow’s feelings got the best of her in the moment, being caught off guard seeing her son with Daddy’s new girlfriend. But as she laid into Michael, fans couldn’t help but catch that twinkle in his eye and the smug smile wrapping across his face.

Multiple times, he’s told others that he wasn’t guilty of shooting Drew and wasn’t concerned that he would ever look like he was.

Is that because Michael knows who shot Drew? Could it have been Willow, suffering from a mental break and not remembering any bit of it the way Michael can? We shouldn’t lose sight of the possibility that Michael knows more than he is letting on, and that he’s starting to wonder whether Willow does too.
