The Bold and The Beautiful Spoilers: Daphne’s Past Comes Back to Haunt Her, Dashing Frenchman on the Way?!

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that co-headwriter Michael Minnis let it be known that someone from Daphne’s past would appear to shake things up. We’re still waiting!

Daphne has returned to FC to work and now has a clear shot at Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor). When the announcement about a newbie came out, fans wondered if it would be a man from Daphne’s past who would compete with Carter for her heart.

Who is Daphne’s Old Guy?

During the interview Minnis stated that a character from Daphne’s past will “have an interesting impact on a number of our characters.”

While we’re waiting we have a suggestion: how about Gilles Marini who is already familiar to B&B fans?

He has had several walk-ons since 2005 and charmed the audience every time. Do we need to remind everyone that Gilles is the ultimate French heartthrob?

We know next to nothing about Daphne, and having a dashing Frenchman come on to shake things up would be a marvelous way to expand Daphne’s storyline.
After all, she can’t be beautiful set decoration forever can she?

Will Daphne Get a Blast From the Past?

For his part Carter has made no great moves on Daphne despite Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) setting him free. With the holidays coming up it would be great fun to see Carter and Daphne front and center in a steamy triangle.

Then again, the newcomer could also shake things up with another female, perhaps making Daphne jealous.

We’re Ready for Daphne’s Past to Arrive

Daphne is the best nose in the business, as she’s a perfumer. People can smell her a mile away and that’s a compliment.

Who would the newcomer sizzle with? How about Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) who is embarking on a dangerous liaison with Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan)?

Or maybe he fancies Li Nozawa (Naomi Matsuda). Li is a vibrant and underutilized character, and we’d love to see more of her on the screen.

It would be engaging to see the personal side of Li, rather than the cocky doctor show steals patients and stashes them in back rooms.
