She may wind up urging Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) to consider placing Luna Nozawa’s (Lisa Yamada) baby with another family.
While Electra is striving to maintain the love she has with Will and keep their relationship stable, she is evidently troubled by Luna’s pregnancy. Currently, it’s easy for Will to make commitments and prioritize Electra, but this will become significantly more challenging once the baby arrives.
Will has already begun to feel quite protective of his child, which is why he felt compelled to check on Luna after she arranged for her cellmate to give her a black eye.
B&B fans will remember that the prison doctor reached out to Will, prompting him to rush over to ensure his baby was safe. As Luna approaches her delivery date, Will’s concern for his child is bound to grow significantly, because Will knows if Luna’s being beaten, she could wind up miscarrying the baby.
Electra Might Get Worried About Being Able To Move Past A Constant Reminder Of Luna
In many ways, this baby represents an extension of Luna, leading Electra to contemplate whether she can truly cope with that reality. Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) is quite certain that he can completely eliminate Luna from the equation when it comes to this little one.
Meanwhile, Katie Logan (Heather Tom) has cautioned that this child will never know Luna as their mother. Before the baby arrives, Electra could potentially drop a bombshell that prompts Will to consider the possibility of adoption.
If Luna were to lose her parental rights, Will would have the option to proceed with placing the baby with a new family if he so desires.
While Katie and Bill clearly intend to assist with the baby, Electra might worry that this arrangement keeps Luna’s child too close for comfort.
This situation could lead to complications if Luna manages to escape or devises another plan to stir up trouble.
From Electra’s perspective, they may never truly escape Luna’s influence unless Will decides to entrust the baby to new adoptive parents. Electra might even see this as a potential resolution to her romantic dilemmas with Will as well.
It’s possible that Electra will finally come clean and acknowledge that she has no desire to take on the role of a mother figure for Luna’s child! Electra might feel that she cannot genuinely embrace this baby, and that could pose a significant problem if Will is stepping into the role of a father.
