The Young and the Restless spoilers hint more plot twists in Noah Newman’s (Lucas Adams) car crash case as a new detective will arrive on scene in Los Angeles. News has broken that actress Catherine Kresge will join the CBS soap soon, and SS has all the details around this exciting development.
Kresge will debut on the canvas during sweeps month on Thursday, November 20, playing Detective Annie Stewart. She’ll be the official Los Angeles cop lead on Noah’s case, and she’ll believe there’s some foul play involved.
Fans know that Detective Burrow (Matt Cohen) isn’t a detective, and it looks like Stewart’s arrival in this storyline will confirm that to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).
In addition, while her character will be recurring, Y&R fans should expect to see Stewart involved in multiple episodes as this arc continues to unravel.
It also sounds like Stewart will have intense scenes with Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) as her club, The Shadow Room, will be investigated.
Added teasers hint there are some secret shenanigans going on in the later hours of the night (or earlier hours of the morning) at the bar, so the mystery surrounding Noah’s accident will continue to get intense!
The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that Kresge is no stranger to procedural roles as her past work includes, Fantastic Four, A Good Day to Die Hard, as well as, Hello, My Name is Doris. She’s also been on shows like S.W.A.T., 911: Lone Star, Chicago Med, and NCIS: Hawaii.
How will she fair in the land of daytime drama? It’ll be interesting to see the drama this character brings to the soap as she tries to figure out exactly what happened to Noah, and why someone purposely ran him off the road.
