Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates for the week of October 13-17 suggest that Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) will reach her breaking point! As Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) and Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) deepen their connection, another pair struggles through a disastrous couples’ therapy session.

Sophia’s Many Schemes Might Blow Up In Her Face

Let’s kick things off with Sophia, whose various plots could potentially explode in her face next week. Recently, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Chanel DiMera (Raven Bowens) had a breakthrough regarding the texts he received from Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) that sabotaged their chances with the adoption worker.

She got a tip-off Johnny was having an inappropriate relationship with one of his students, which was confirmed when she looked at his phone and discovered the provocative photo  Holly allegedly sent him.

 DOOL fans know this was instigated by Sophia, and since Holly was in the hospital when the message was sent, Johnny and Chanel now understand he was set up. Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will soon be part of the developments in the days to come (pun intended), suggesting that Sophia might be feeling the walls closing in.

That Won’t Be The Only Thing Causing Sophia To Spiral

Nonetheless, this isn’t the only element that will push the young girl into a tailspin. In some exciting casting news, young actors Joseph Ihlenf and Jordan Perdue are set to make their first appearance on screen as little Tesoro.

Is it possible that Sophia will choose to take the child and go on the run? As Sarah Horton Kiriakis (Linsey Godfrey) begins to connect the dots regarding the baby’s real parentage, Sophia may realize if she doesn’t leave Salem with her son soon, the lies she has told could result in serious fallout in her life.

Holly Will Have Brighter Days Ahead, Compared To The Last Two Weeks

When it comes to Holly, she is likely to see brighter days ahead after the tough two weeks she has faced. According to DOOL spoilers for next week, Holly and Tate Black (Leo Howard) will have a reunion, which further hints that Sophia’s plots might soon come to light.

Meanwhile, Gabi and Philip will be back in bed together, which is sure to create some drama for this emerging couple.

 It seems they will continue to grow closer during the week of October 13-17.  But since Gabi was responsible for planting that bug in Xander Kiriakis’ (Paul Telfer) office, she might be nervous, as the last thing she wants is for Philip to find out.

Gabi Could Wind Up Falling For Philip

Gabi might develop feelings for Philip, which could complicate things since she started their relationship with dishonest motives. Meanwhile, Xander and Sarah are set to attend their first couples therapy session, but it could turn out badly.

Although Sarah has enjoyed reconnecting with Xander both physically and emotionally, he will be very anxious during their session. The reason they got back together is that Sarah thinks Xander didn’t harm Philip, which is why they are trying again.

However, since Xander did seriously hurt Philip, he’ll be worried about what he says in therapy and might react in an unhealthy manner.
