The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, October 8 hint that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) stuns Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) while Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) puts the squeeze on Citizen Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn).
Jill is back in town and one of the first things she did was argue with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) about Cane. Victor walked in on this and found out that Nikki asked Jill to team up with them to stop the cocky bogul from taking over all of Genoa City.
Jill thought Nikki overreacted, and smooth talking Victor stepped in to say that he would convince Jill otherwise.
Will he be able to get through Jill’s defenses that she has put up around Cane? She is a shrewd business woman but has a soft spot for her ex’s son. Victor has his work cut out for him!
Meanwhile, Jack has some pressuring of his own to do. He and Victor have agreed to team up against Cane, but both sides are rightfully distrustful.
However they decide to accomplish the goal of neutralizing Cane, the men have to careful. Cane is a loose cannon these days and changes his mind at will.
But, Jack may persuade Victor to let him take the lead with Cane, since they were friends once upon a time.
Meanwhile, Nikki remains busy trying to help her family topple the bogul. She sees Jill as the key to changing Cane—is she right?
Cane plans to use AI to become the puppet master in GC but he has a ton of enemies against him, including the formidable Newmans.
The Young and the Restless spoilers remind us that there is no love lost between Nikki and Cane, the man who imprisoned her son on his very own Fantasy Island.
