The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Nikki & Jill’s Suspense, More Mariah Stranger Danger, Phyllis Interrogated

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, October 7 show that Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) hears of an intriguing offer, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) is on thin ice, and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is investigated.

The Newman Ranch Meeting

Over at the Newman ranch, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) spends time with Jill. They have unfinished business and Nikki is ready to move forward as comrades. This is because she believes all hands need to be on deck to defeat nasty

Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn).

In case you missed it, Cane has returned to the show as a recast and with a totally new persona.

Gone is the Aussie charm and in its place is a snarling, brooding convict. Cane 2.0 has taken over the whole show and some fans need time to adjust.

Be that as it may, she wants to join forces to defeat Cane’s vile agenda to take over the entire town (from his choo choo).

Nikki’s concern may fall on deaf ears, however. Jill is tight with Cane and always protects those she loves.

Nikki Wants an Alliance With Jill

As we mentioned earlier, Cane is not the same person (literally) and the characters are trying to destroy him—he shot first. Jill hopes that Cane returns to form but the rest of GC don’t have time to wait while Cane plots their ruination.

However, Jill has more problems than just Cane and it could influence her decision to partner with Nikki. Jill’s other problem is her son Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) who has a chronic chip on his shoulder.

Phick Get Testy

Meanwhile, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) interrogates his ex, Phyllis, about what the heck she’s doing collaborating with Cane.

Nick delivers his usual warning about Cane being a bad guy and she would do well to remove herself from his orbit.
Phyllis lets the advice fall off her back and contends she has everything under control while urging Nick to fight other battles.

Sharon’s World is Rocked

Elsewhere, at Crimson Lights Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) upset Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) with news about her MIA daughter, Mariah.

Daniel and Tessa were gobsmacked by what they found at the no-tell motel where Mariah allegedly smothered an old coot to death.
Did Tessa and Daniel uncover proof of Mariah’s claim that she killed The Stranger

(Michael Swan)?

This bizarre storyline has gone off the rails since its introduction, so maybe a drunken hallucination explanation will suffice at this point? Because what really is the point of this plot where the main character has bowed out?

So … Tessa is now more worried than ever about Mariah after the visit, and conveniently Daniel is at her side to console her.
