The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Hope and Carter’s Decisions Spark the Birth of Two New Romances

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) decision was emotionally hard but not logically tough. She cares for Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) but loves another man.

Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) was and remains the love of Hope’s life. No matter how hard Carter tried, the connection he pursued with Hope never reached the depth of the tie she and Liam share.

However, Carter has had another woman waiting for him. Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) fell in love with Carter after initially coming to Los Angeles, California, to serve as a distraction.

Daphne Rose Is Also An Alluring Singer

Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and her family were angered. Carter betrayed their trust after Eric Forrester (John McCook) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) rejected his pitch to develop Forrester Creations into a luxury brand destination.

Carter’s response led him to deceive Ridge and Steffy by creating and having them sign legal documents that allowed him to head FC. Ridge, in particular, was staggered, never expecting the man he considered to be his best friend and brother-figure to knife him and the Forresters in the back.

Steffy brought Daphne to town to split the then-developing romance between Carter and Hope. Daphne’s efforts laid the groundwork for Carter to accept her invitation to Il Giardino’s open mic night and be transfixed by her dulcet tone.

Hope Logan’s Heart Never Truly Turned

As devoted viewers recall, Liam ended his marriage to Hope. That happened because of her involvement with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson).

Liam believed that Hope’s interest was waning and their family wasn’t strong enough to overcome what he saw as a betrayal. So, their third marriage dissolved, and Hope moved on.

She didn’t anticipate being with Carter, but his open-hearted play for her resulted in a budding romance. It’s reasonable to believe that Hope probably would have married Carter if Liam hadn’t received the false brain tumor diagnosis, and also hadn’t been nearly shot to death by Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada).

Hope’s return to Liam was telegraphed by his proclamation earlier this year. He aimed to restore his family, with all the drama that followed in Liam’s life, creating the dynamic for Hope to reclaim her life with him and their daughter.

Carter Walton Has Been Unlucky In Love

Part of Carter’s problem in never realizing a lasting romance is his attitude. He subconsciously anticipates some type of failure, which projects desperation toward some of the women he’s been involved with.

Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer) would be an exception, as that seemingly deep love left town without warning. That was a strange storyline ender because of the buildup to their pairing, which included receiving Eric’s blessing.

Daphne appears to be the match Carter has long needed and deserved. Steffy didn’t exactly intend for Daphne to come from France and marry Carter, but that’s now possible or even probable because of where Saint-Victor’s and Rose’s characters find themselves this fall.
