The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, September 30 point to Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) toeing the line, and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) keeping a secret from bad boy Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).

Sally and Billy had a tearful parting of the ways, even though they still love each other.It’s just that Billy can’t control his obsessions and Sally prefers a healthier lifestyle.

On Tuesday, the feisty redhead goes behind Billy’s back in her latest attempt to run his life for him. When will she realize that treating Billy like a 5-year old who can’t make good career decisions does not bode well for a lifetime of adult bliss?

Sally Tries to Change Billy

Sally talks to Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) on Zoom, in another attempt to save him from himself. Poor Sally wails that she’s in love with Billy Boy but he won’t grow up. Maybe she’s the problem?

Sally might describe Billy’s admiration of and firing from Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) which resulted in a blow out fight with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).
Jack pulled his funding for Abbott Communications, so will Jill donate her money?

Jill is Propositioned

Sally has nerve, you have to give her that. She wants Jill and Billy to repair their bond and this will lead Jill back to Genoa City during the week of September 29-October 3.

Elsewhere, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Diane have words after Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) form an alliance.

Diane doesn’t like it one bit, but Nikki tells her to get in line and punch her ticket.
While stern Nikki has her own concerns, she thinks that a Jack and Victor alliance is the best way to defeat nasty Cane.

Messa is a Mess

Elsewhere, Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) tells her MIL Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) how she plans to salvage her marriage. She’s going to the no-tell motel where Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) thinks she strangled an old man with a pillow. What could go wrong?

When she mentions that Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) is accompanying her, will Sharon be glad or mad?
