The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Taylor Was Important But Never Ridge’s Destiny

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that the facts certainly don’t lie. At this point, it’s clear as day that while Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) has always been an important character in the story, she was never Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) destiny.

That’s because despite everything that they had gone through over the years, Ridge knew in the back of his head that he and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) always belonged with each other. Period.

Clearly, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter.

Some have even commented with, “We can debate feelings all day, but if you look at the actual storylines over the last 37 years, it’s clear: Brooke Logan and Ridge Forrester are the love story of The Bold and the Beautiful. Taylor was important, yes; but she was never Ridge’s destiny.”

“In the late ’80s/early ’90s, Ridge was set to marry Caroline Spencer after Brooke already fell for him. When Caroline died, Brooke and Ridge became the original central couple of the show.”

Another critic wrote, “In 2012, Ridge left Brooke on their wedding day because of Bill Spencer. But when Ronn Moss left the show, Brooke was still Ridge’s unresolved love. By 2013, when Thorsten Kaye stepped in, Ridge and Brooke’s story was front and centre again.”

It Has Always Been Ridge And Brooke’s Story

“Think about the big iconic Ridge moments: the runway kiss with Brooke, the repeated wedding spectacles, their epic breakups and reunions. Those are the scenes fans remember.”

And then there was this comment as well: “Even with all of Ridge’s waffling, the show still writes Brooke as the woman he always returns to. That’s not weakness on her part, it’s the writers underlining her as his true endgame. Brooke deserves better but if Ridge is ‘the guy,’ then she is the woman.”
