The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint that audacious Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) could be the victim of a nefarious poisoning. It’s not like she hasn’t teed off half of Genoa City!

Matt Cohen (ex Griffin Munro, General Hospital) debuts as Detective Burrow on October 16 and fans are speculating about his investigation. According to Entertainment Weekly Detective Burrow “will be front and center investigating a major case featuring some of the soap’s key characters.”

Who Is The Subject of Burrow’s Investigation?

Right off the bat, it sounds like it will be an epic whodunit since there are multiple key players mentioned. Some might think that Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will a victim, but we have reason to believe that it could be Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) going after Audra.

Here’s why: Audra has been commenting on Claire’s past, namely trying to poison her family. This event has come up more than once and you know what they say, where’s there’s smoke there’s fire!

And, let’s face it, Audra and Claire are in the middle of a huge catfight, so we predict that one or both decide to take matters to the next level.

In the Monday, September 8 episode, Audra jokes to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) that

Claire is capable of spiking her drink. Is this a clue that Audra is poisoned? If this or something else bad happens to Audra, the suspect list is long: Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters), Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), and Holden Novak (Nathan Owens).
