Days of Our Lives Comings & Goings Sept 8-12: Legacy Character Recast, Diabolical DiMera

Welcome Home, Theo Carver!

Theo Carver is set to return home during the Tuesday, September 9 episode, with a slightly different face.

Actor Tyler Joseph Andrews has been recast in the role, and Theo will be seen with his TV dad, Abe Carver (James Reynolds), as well as his stepmom, Paulina Price (Jackée Harry), upon his comeback. Theo was last seen in 2023, when he was played by Cameron Johnson.

Diabolical DiMera Returns

Speaking of Theo, from the looks of the DOOL preview for the week of September 8-12, Tony DiMera, played by Thaao Penghlis, will be the one to summon Theo for his plan to snatch back DiMera from Titan.

Tony will take center stage this week, as he’ll also share scenes with Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez).

Other Casting Notes

Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) will continue their run after returning to town the week of September 1-5.

The couple will receive some unsettling news during the Monday, September 8 episode, so does this have anything to do with Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) budding romance with Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord)?

Meanwhile, Alice Halsey will also be on the canvas, as she plays Rachel Black. The young girl will have scenes with Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) during the Thursday, September 11 show, along with her TV parents, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) during the Friday, September 12 episode.

Poor Rachel will continue to reel over her mom going to prison, but will she also come to realize that Kristen is doing this to cover for her? Will the child remember shooting EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel)?
