As of press time, the palace has not revealed what kind of cancer the Princess of Wales was diagnosed with. However, she did complete her chemotherapy treatments and is back on the mend.

But that doesn’t mean her life is the same as it was once before. In fact, the mother-of-three has a totally different outlook on life and how she wants to live it moving forward.

One source close to the situation even put it this way in a new interview with Us Weekly: “Kate’s outlook has changed, and her priorities have shifted. [She’s] emphasizing her family and her well-being over [intense] duties.”

“While they take their responsibilities very seriously, they are not afraid to say no when necessary. Kate knows visibility is crucial for maintaining the monarchy’s profile, but she doesn’t need to be at everything. She’s [being more] intentional.”

What’s Next For The Princess of Wales?

Not only that, but the source also says that the chemotherapy treatments took a huge toll on both Kate’s mental and physical health. “Fatigue has been a big one, and she continues to deal with it in her recovery journey.

Kate listens to her advisers, but ultimately it’s up to her doctors. They guide her decisions.”

This is also one of the reasons why the future queen of England is working so hard to connect with other cancer survivors around the UK.

The insider said, “Kate enjoys speaking to others who have been through what she has. It’s important for her to connect with others. It’s therapeutic for her, and she wants to bring as much awareness as possible.”
